The REX founders, Rob and Eri, began with items that they had simply stumbled upon on their travels around Asia. For no other reason than they struck a chord. They liked them, and thought other people would too, and so started selling from a market stall in London’s Portobello Road in 1981.
As the company grew, they decided to not only choose products they liked, but also to design them. Each year they have added to their eclectic and stylish collections, and we now welcome them to The Tantivy, so you’ll never be stuck for a gift idea again.
