The Artist
Sarah Edmonds is a self taught illustrator based by the sea in Worthing. Originally from the Welsh borders, she spent much of her childhood adventuring around farmyards and forests and this connection to nature remains a strong influence on her work.
Over the past 8 years she has worked as a freelance illustrator on projects with publishers, museums, national parks and charities. Alongside this her collection of playful illustrated gifts has grown and in 2021 her partner Matt joined her in the business to turn my solo venture into a family operation!
The Products
In all her work she loves to make people giggle and embrace their mischievous side. Her paper goods and gift collections are especially popular with garden, bird and word enthusiasts, and have quickly become bestsellers.
The journey between idea and product always begins with crayons, pens and paper. The artworking process blends a unique hand drawn quality with crisp digital design. The bright colours and textures of each illustration, alongside her signature typography have created a strong voice for her collections to make them stand out.
Once designed, she works with several UK based companies to produce her gift items, packaging them in a simple and attractive way to sell at affordable prices.
